first bike

the other day you and mom went the bicycle shop to buy a bike. you picked out an awesome red and black one. very cool. you like this bike so much that the first thing you did on the day after the purchase was to get up early and ride you bike on the patio. usually you get up and climb into bed with mom and dad or play in the family room. on this morning you got up, put on your helmet, open the screen door and started to ride. it was an awesome site for mom and i to see you from our bedroom enjoying your brand new bicycle.

bag designer?

every so often you do something that makes your mom and i imagine what you will do as an adult. this latest activity makes us think you might have a future as a bag designer. this is what happens when it’s a little too quiet in your room and you’re not asleep. you decided to explore your creative impulses with one of your mom’s bag as a canvas.

father’s day

thanks for the father’s day gift you made for me at school. i love it. being a graphic designer i always need a sketchbook. a few weeks ago mom asked me to find a stick in the back yard for a school project. i never thought it would become part of a father’s day gift. thanks, i love you so much jack.

the water park

there’s nothing like a trip to the water park to beat the summer florida heat. all of us went to the water parl at the ymca a few miles south of our house. we played in the shallow pool area which had lots of squirting water hoses. what could be more fun than squirting water at total strangers from 20 feet away. after we went to the park and had a picnic. you and tyler played on the playground for a little while and then fell asleep on the car ride home.
