Merry Christmas 2015. This year we stayed in Delmar on Christmas Day. Nonna and Papa came for the day to have dinner and open presents. This was the year of the remote controlled objects. You received a small drone (quadcopter) with a camera. This will take some time to learn to fly. The crash protection unit is on it’s way. You also received a Sphero. It’s basically a ball that you control with your iPod. There are games and other apps that can be used with it. I’m curious to see what you come up with. You’re always pushing the boundaries of what can be done with your toys and devices. Keep doing that.
Magic Enrichment
Another class of magic during the Hamagrael enrichment series. You were by far the most advanced magician in the group. Maybe even more advanced than the teacher. You could have taught that class to the other kids. As usual there was a full house at the end-of-class show. You brought the house down with a trick that I don’t think was even part of the class. Well done.
Cheek Jelly
Jackson: “Is this some jelly on my cheek.”
Dad: “No. That’s a zit.”
Zombie Jack
In the past it’s been Minecraft Steve, a tiger, a pirate, but this year I believe you turned a corner — a zombie. Based on this photo I would say that you’ve seen lots of zombie movies and tv shows, but I don’t know if that’s possible. Maybe some kids zombie book. Some day I’ll introduce you to Dawn of the Dead, The Walking Dead, and World War Z. FYI, the shirt says “You will be next.”

1st Day of Fourth Grade
And so begins another year at Hamagrael Elementary School. Your fourth grade teacher is Mrs. Bigelow. I can tell from this photo that you’ll have lots of fun. Check out that Jack-O-Latern smile. Classic.
